50 Years of Excellence

Founded by Mr & Mrs Taher on a single belief: every family in Dubai deserves access to quality British education.

1975
The Beginning

Arab Unity School opens its doors in Al Mizhar, Dubai, with a founding vision of best-value British excellence.

1990
Cambridge Partnership

AUS becomes an accredited Cambridge International School, introducing IGCSE examinations and raising academic standards.

2005
Sixth Form Launch

A-Level provision added, offering a complete British education pathway from FS2 to Year 13.

2015
DSIB Recognition

DSIB rates AUS with many Good and Very Good judgements, including Very Good for Post-16 provision and student wellbeing.

2025
50th Anniversary
